Memorable game drives through the Parks’ plains will be part of your safari as you witness the beauty of Uganda while you spot several animals and bird species. Set off will be very early in the morning to be driven to Lake Mburo National Park with stopovers at Mpambire drum makers’ village and the equator line in Kayabwe where you will take as many pictures as you can. Rubanga forest is a birder’s paradise for bird enthusiasts and also an ideal place for guided nature walks. Birds that can be spotted in this forest include Nubian woodpeckers, bare-faced go-away bird, green wood hoopoe, red-headed lover bird, red shouldered cuckoo, Ross’s turaco, coqui francolin, double-toothed barbet and many more. Return to the lodge for lunch before you head off for an evening game drive where you will lookout for animals like giraffes, zebras, elands, warthogs, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, reedbucks, waterbucks, bushbucks to mention but a few. Several savannah birds can as well be spotted like the hadada ibis, southern ground hornbill, Guinee fowl, Abyssinian ground hornbill and many more. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.
Have your early morning breakfast to meet your driver guide and be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will arrive to check-in at your prearranged lodge and have lunch. After lunch you will head off for a guided walk around the Katwe salt Lake s you look out for several bird types for example papyrus canary, African broadbill, yellow-throated cuckoo, flamingos, African skimmer, pink-backed pelican, martial eagle, papyrus Gonolek to mention but a few. Wildlife species will as well be spotted more so those that inhabit around the Lake for example warthogs, elephants, hippopotamuses and many more. Get back to the lodge to have dinner and an overnight.
Enjoy your breakfast in the early morning and be driven through the Park’s game trails as you lookout for animals such as herds of elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, reedbucks, lions, waterbucks, warthogs, hyenas and many more. During your game drive, you will as well spot several bird types for example the red throat spur, grey backed fiscal, black lured babbler, brown snake eagle, African crake, grey crowned cranes and many more. Get back to the lodge for lunch before you report to the Kazinga channel for a boat cruise as you spot the Park’s aquatic life and bird species like the pygmy kingfishers, swamp nightjar, black-headed Gonolek, sunbird, mouse bird, grey-caped warbler, weavers, pin tailed whydah and many more. Return to your lodge for relaxation, have dinner and an overnight.
After your scrumptious breakfast, checkout of your safari lodge and meet your driver guide to be driven back to Kampala with a stopover in Mbarara for your lunch. After lunch your will proceed with your journey arriving in the late afternoon to be dropped off at your desired location around the city center or directly to the airport for your out bound flight back home.
